Missions and Outreach
At Sycamore Presbyterian Church, our mission is to foster a welcoming community where everyone is loved and accepted. We believe in nurturing a growing relationship with Christ as the cornerstone of our faith and actions. This commitment extends beyond our church walls and into the heart of our community.
We strive to put our faith into action by engaging in meaningful partnerships and supporting initiatives that reflect Christ’s teachings of love, compassion, and service. Our outreach efforts are designed not only to meet the physical and spiritual needs of individuals but also to create lasting impacts through collaborative and sustainable community projects.
OUTREACH DAY
Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others (1 Peter 4:10)
SPC’s church-wide, cross-generational Ouϯreach Day is coming soon! A day to celebrate and serve our community. A time to come together to serve and spread God’s love.
We will begin our day at 8:00 with breakfast, fellowship, and prayer. By 9:00, teams from SPC will be heading out to serve. This year SP has the opportunity to serve at the Center for Respite Care, Family Promise Warren County, Habitat Restore Loveland, Matthew 25 Ministries, NEEDS Food Pantry, New Life Furniture Thrift Store, New Life Furniture Warehouse, Operation Give Back in Blue Ash, SPCA on Conrey Road, and Symmes Township. Over 100 slots -opportunities- to serve.
Others will stay at church to serve! There will be a variety of activities which anyone of any age can enjoy doing from packing Blessing Bags -- to making dog blankets -- to prepping with See 3D models -- to making handmade greeting cards -- and more!
Those who are not able to attend will serve as our Faithful Prayer Warriors praying for all the organization and volunteers participating in SPC’s Ouϯreach Day.
No matter where you serve, we will all end our time together back at church (shortly after noon) for lunch, more time to fellowship, and to celebrate the joy of serving our wondrous God!!

Serving in the Community
There are countless ways to embody the hands and feet of Jesus! In our commitment to reflecting His love and compassion, we dedicate our time and resources to serve our community through various organizations, both locally and internationally. This service is not just about meeting physical needs, but also about fostering meaningful relationships and sharing the transformative message of hope. Through these partnerships, we are able to embody the love of Jesus in tangible ways, making a lasting impact in the lives of those we serve. Each act of service, no matter how small, contributes to a greater purpose, reminding us that we are called to be His hands and feet in a world that so desperately needs it.
Lawnfete - A large festival held annually to benefit our local mission partners. It includes a large yard sale and countless family friendly activities kids of every age will enjoy.
Outreach day - A day dedicated to volunteering and ministering across the Greater Cincinnati Area as a congregation. We start the day with food, fun, and fellowship before branching out to different areas and volunteering our time to local missions. Sign up to participate in this years Outreach day here!
Blessing Bags Program - A weekly pantry program that delivers bags of shelf stable breakfast and lunch to select low income schools. Pantry items are donated and then packed the first Sunday of every month by members of the Congregation after service.
Giving Tree Program - An annual program that supports local children, families, and mission partners with gifts, blankets, and necessary items during the Holiday Season.
Michael Chertock’s Annual Holiday Concert - An annual concert hosted by SPC that partners with famous composer Michael Chertock and other local organizations to benefit the Center for Respite Care.

Supporting mission partners in our community is one of Sycamore’s greatest callings. We intentionally partner with both local and international organizations to help those who need Jesus find Him meeting them where they are. LAwnFETE
Lawnfete is a century old tradition here at Sycamore Presbyterian Church who’s proceeds benefit local missions and our church. The annual festival includes a huge yard sale and countless free activities such as a petting zoo, crafts, bounce houses, and so much more!
Join us for a day of fun, fellowship, and community spirit at Lawnfete, where every moment creates lasting memories and supports a meaningful cause!
